Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
To see quotes, the tool only needs your gender, age, preferred health level, tobacco use status, desired coverage amount and term length. That's all—no name, address, or medical records required. Your personal details stay private unless you choose to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
The numbers you see reflect each carrier's quote for the health classification you selected. Your actual premium gets finalized through the carrier's underwriting process, which may move you to a higher or lower rate class. These are estimates for comparison only, not final prices or coverage guarantees.
What happens when I click Apply?
You'll provide your name and confirm the quote you want to move forward with. The application then opens on the carriers' secure platform, filled in with your earlier answers. You can pause and come back later, and you'll sign your documents electronically. Susman Insurance Agency (California License 0B75129) handles the applications.
Will I need a medical exam?
That varies based on the carrier, coverage amount, and how you answered the health questions. Many carriers now have quick-decision programs for eligible applicants and can issue coverage without an exam. Each quote on this site tells you whether an exam is required, optional, or not needed for that specific product.
Is a longer term better?
A term length should match your actual financial obligations: your mortgage balance, years until your children finish school, business debts that need covering. Longer terms cost more each month but keep your rate locked in for more years. Use the comparison tool to run 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30-year scenarios and see the differences.
Does this site sell my information?
Your information stays confidential. The quote function never collects a name, phone, or email. We don't sell customer data, we don't use advertising trackers, and our site statistics don't rely on cookies. For specifics on what information is and isn't collected, check our privacy policy.
